Most Nigerians could easily relate with the movie from the title as it is an exceptional historical story of the democratic struggles and hardships Nigeria faced through 1993 till date. Showcasing the martyrs of June 12 Democratic Electoral mishap like Late MKO Abiola of the Social Democratic Party, Alhaji Tofa of National Republican Convention et al. The Toronto movie screening of “June 12” will be held on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at 1500 Royal York road, Unit 20-21 Toronto, Ontario M9P 3B5
Major casts include Muyiwa Ademola, Funmilayo Adedeji, Jide Awobona, Ayo Mogaji and Taiwo Ibikunle. Others are Adunni Ade, Biola Adebayo, Sunkanmi Omobolanle and Toyin Adegbola.
The movie was directed by Abiola Paul Bogunmbe and DOP was Lekan Bature.
