A mum accused of killing her four-year-old daughter today sobbed “I’m sorry” in court.
Carly Harris, 37, was charged with the murder of her “fun-loving, caring and bubbly” daughter Amelia Brooke Harris after the young girl was found dead at her home in Rhondda, South Wales.

The mum was flanked by two officers in the dock at Merthyr Magistrates’ Court in South Wales, handcuffed and wearing grey prison issued clothing.
As she was led from the court, the mum sobbed – crying out: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry”.
She was remanded in custody, with the case referred to a hearing Cardiff Crown Court tomorrow.
It comes after family of Amelia paid tribute to the little girl after her tragic death on Friday night.
Officers were called at around 10.20pm on Friday and Amelia was declared dead at the scene.
