A former member of the London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) headed by Basil Meade, she nabbed the Semi Finalist at the UK’s top Competition ‘Time2Shine. She also made headlines on African channel airwaves in 2014 Nigerian Idol Season 4. V.E.R.A stole the hearts of the judges with her soulful and very professional version of Jessi J’s Big White room and walked away with the 1st Golden Ticket for Lagos.
V.E.R.A also has songs which consist of covers of Banky W’s- Yes/No, Davido’s Gobe and the club banging song JA LO which was released last year 2017 and still trending online and some radio stations in Nigeria.
V.E.R.A was selected last year to open for the king of afro music 2face Idibia at his London tour. The award winning singer was awarded the best female music act at the DBE music Awards 2017 & 2018 as well as a top female act for Panache Global awards 2018. During the recognition of UK boxers meeting she was presented before his Excellency Chief George Oguntade and his cabinet at the Nigerian High comission along side Larry Ekundayo to Nigerian/UK boxer.
During the summer she was invited by the Mayor of London to perform before 10k Londoners and tourists at the annual Africa on the square show. Just 3 months ago she was invited by the Ooni of Ife to perform in Lagos, Oriental hotel where she came back home with yet another award.
The industry has consistently watched the rise of a superstar and before the end of 2017 she released her EP album titled Long Awaited, which she has performed both home and abroad.
